We are looking to welcome a talented Assistant Accountant to our team, to start in May

You will be working in a multi-skilled team, assisting with a wide range of different tasks for our rapidly expanding F&B group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling full sets of accounts, month-end closing and preparing month end reports and schedules
• Preparing settlement reconciliation for the restaurants
• Ensuring full compliance with accounting policies and streamlining work procedures
• Assist the Accounting Manager in preparation of the weekly management report
• Maintaining the full set of books and reviewing the accounting transactions in detail
• Reviewing and conducting fixed asset counts, and stock take on a periodical basis
• Handle licensing applications for the restaurants (General Restaurant Licence, Liquor Licence, Food Factory etc)
• Due to the nature of our business, our teams are also required to carry out some ad hoc assignments as required by business need.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A graduate in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 3 years of accounting experience; prior experience in F&B or retail industry is preferred
• Able to maintain the full set of accounts independently and work under tight deadlines during month-end closing
• Familiarity with Peachtree software is a bonus
• Strong communication skills
• Proficienct in Microsoft Office software
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Service oriented, detail minded, with a team focus
