Our client is a world renowned hotel and leisure group.  As a result of its expansion, they are seeking for a high caliber Financial Controller to join their growing team in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively support management in the definition of short, medium and long-term business objectives and action plans to fulfill company goals
• Advise management on financial feasibility
• Provide risks assessment, funding requirements and profitability estimation
• Control day-to-day operations of the accounting & taxation functions
• Working with a team of 12 (including I.T. team)
• Ensure daily operations & work flows are consistent with the local statutory requirements
• Exercise full responsibility over financial statements and set up sound internal control over different divisions within the hotel
• Implement and control the necessary accounting and management information systems maintaining in an efficient and reliable manner

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related areas.
• Proven abilities in the design and set up of financial reporting system.
• Minimum of 10 years of finance management experience.
• Experience in hospitality industry and hotel operation is a must
• Knowledgeable with Hong Kong accounting standard, laws and taxation regulation
• Familiar with Sun System and  Opera System
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent in analytical skills
• Fluent in English and Cantonese is a must
