Capital Dynamics seeks an Fund Administration / Operations Officer to join its small Hong Kong office.

As this position demands a wide range of responsibilities, you must be committed, self-motivated, very resourceful, and remain long-term focused.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Handling the fund accounting and fund operations functions and implement relevant policies and procedures;
• Calculation and ensure accuracy of Net Asset Value, including monthly expenses accrual, preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances have been correctly reported, documented and  supported, etc and conduct valuation analysis.
• Handle trade processing and settlements, monitoring of corporate actions, liaising with service providers, maintaining information systems including portfolio accounting.
• Calculation of management and performance fees, and preparation of billing to clients.
• Preparation of regulatory reporting, management reports, quarterly and financial statements, and other ad-hoc reports to the authorities, directors and clients, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist in client servicing.
• Support senior management in various areas to ensure smooth day to day operations. 

Requirements:

• A solid degree in Accounting or Finance related discipline or equivalent professional certification; Professional qualification/s are not essential.
• Although applicants with fund accounting experience in the asset management or financial industry would be desired, candidates with financial accounting experience in non-related industries and fresh graduates who are undaunted by the challenge of a steep learning curve are encouraged to apply. 
• Deadline oriented, with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Attention to details and good problem solving skills.
• Able to multitask and work independently.
