Job Description:

We are looking for a creative Art director who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers “click”. You will cooperate with a design-savvy team to devise an overall concept. The goal is to translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences.

Our HR & Admin Manager’s duties include basically a full spectrum of HR and Administration duties, and as the Company continues to grow with new position openings which will need to be fulfilled very quickly to match with our business growth, we expect the HR & Admin Manager will initially deploy most of her/his times in the Selection & Recruitment process for both junior and senior positions, and be able to work very closely with Management and Line Managers to define requirement specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the copywriter ;
• Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas ;
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience ;
• Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media ;
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines ;
• Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions ;
• Present completed ideas to clients/team members ;
• Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices;
• Creative mindset and strong visual organization;
• Work on product design and technical drawings;
• Produce quality graphic artwork and provide advice on product designs;
• Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned;
• Able to initiate and execute ideas with strong art direction and graphic skills;
• Produce excellent design quality, able to solve complex design problems with a high level of creativity for web page design and online advertising design / concept;
• Manage CI and Corporate Literature, Structural Packaging Design, Web Design, Retail Display, Outdoor Billboards, Exhibition Booths, Print Ads and Electronic/Mobile/Web and Event Marketing design work;
• Other ad-hoc assignment and projects as required.

Job Requirements:

• Proven working experience as Art director (for Art Director position);
• Hands on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and package design ;
• Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools ;
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio ;
• Incorporate feedback and take/give directions well ;
• Team player with strong communication and presentation skills ;
• Relevant education or training;
• Diploma or above in Graphic, Multimedia Design or related disciplines;
• Strong sense of fashion/ beauty/ luxury brands/ art;
• Creative, open-minded, adventurous and self-motivated;
• Able to deal with budgetary issues;
• Proficient in graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator and/ or InDesign);
• Basic knowledge in 3D modeling and design software is a plus;
• Experience in photography/ video shooting/ animation is an advantage;
• Fluent in Cantonese and English. Good command of spoken Mandarin is preferred;
• Travel to factory in mainland China is needed;
