Frontend Engineer 

• Responsible for developing functional and appealing user facing features for web and desktop applications as well as backend API creation;
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs;
• Optimize applications to maximize performance and scalability;
• Perform UI and API testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related disciplines;
• At least 2 years frontend programming experiences, OR solid experiences with JavaScript usage, deep understanding of ECMAScript 2015+;
• Experiences with modern frontend JS frameworks and experience with Angular, React or Vue;
• Experiences with modern backend JS frameworks & WebSocket, Express;
• Experiences with testing frameworks, such as Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, Karma, etc.;
• Experiences with RESTful Web Services design;
• Experiences with TypeScript is a bonus;
• Experiences with backend programming languages including PHP, Java or Golang, etc.;
• Experience with building responsive UI and solving cross-browser compatibility issues;
• Hands-on experience with unit testing framework, automated testing;
• Passionate about learning the latest technologies and producing large-scale systems;
• Self-motivated and fast learner;
• Strong communication skills. Good spoken English and Cantonese. 

Backend Engineer

• Develop distributed applications using Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies;
• Follow agile development methodology, adapt to changing requirements and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• More than 2 years of experience building software products. (Less experience will be considered as Engineer);
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Proficient in one of the programming languages, Java/ Kotlin/ Golang;
• Hands-on experience with unit testing framework, automated testing;
• Experience with messaging queues is an advantage;
• Experience with the AWS or Azure cloud computing platform is a bonus;
• Knowledge in data security, cryptography, Blockchain, consensus algorithm is a bonus;
• Passion in learning new technologies and producing large-scale systems;
• Self-motivated and fast learner;
• Strong communication skills. Good spoken English and Cantonese.
