Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance to make sure smooth operation of the database system
• To provide advices on the architectural design, performance and capacity of the database environments
• To install, monitor, tuning and optimize the performance of the database system
• Perform database backups, recoveries, patches, upgrades and performance tuning
• Work closely with developers to further design and build new structure to support the enhancements of the applications
• Devise, document, implement and perform operational procedures
• Participating in projects for DB infrastructure revamp and roadmap planning
  
  

Requirements:

• High Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience in setup, installation, configuration, administration and support of commonly used RDBMS products such as Oracle RDBMS, Sybase Enterprise DB, Microsoft SQL Server, data backup and recovery system
• Possess relevant database administration or architects certifications
• Solid communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
