Job Scope:

Gallant is expanding its services and business leadership in the IT industry in Hong Kong and Macau. We need to add to its team of consultants with acquired expertise to help develop and implement current and prospective IT solution projects.

The Software Developer position requires technical and programming skills to support customers’ application systems. This position will work closely with the Application team.

From a solutions perspective, your focus will be system design, development, testing and installation of the Microsoft enterprise IT solutions that may also require other advanced components of Microsoft technology such as Visual Studio, SQL Server, and web development platform.

Responsibility:

• Provide technical support in software projects and initiatives especially on system programming
• Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support
• Produce technical documentation for IT applications including operations, user guide, etc.
• Participate in user requirement collection, prepare functional & technical specification
• Follow software development life cycle in system design, program and test

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Knowledge in programming
• Good analytical, problem solving and communication skill
• Ability to understand, communicate with customer, write effective functional requirement and system design documentation
• Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives with little supervision, pro-active attitude
• Knowledge of software development tool and language (Visual Studio, .net, XML, C#, VS Code) and other Microsoft technologies will be an advantage
• Fluent in Cantonese – mandatory
• Fresh graduates are also welcomed
