Nakama has partnered with a global retailer in their search for a Senior PMO Manager to join their Hong Kong Team. They are seeking an ambitious and driven professional who has experience building and defining the PMO.

The successful candidate will work in a regional team dedicated to transformation and be an integral member of a well-established business. The successful Senior PMO Manager will oversee 10 project managers on multiple retail, POS, Omnichannel and eCommerce projects. 

Your key responsibilities will be and not limited to:

• Be the main IT point of contact for retail initiatives in Asia-Pacific.
• Lead and contribute to all phases of the project life cycle.
• Develop and maintain IT Project-related governance processes policies and procedures, standards, guidelines and template
• Collaborate and leverage the best practices in Project Management and facilitate the sharing of resources, methodologies, tools and techniques
• Keep track the progress of all IT projects at Group and BU level and prepare IT project progress reporting.

Requirements:

• Experienced establishing and working in a PMO in a large corporate environment.
• Proven track record of delivering retail IT projects.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT industry with at least 7 years in project management
• Self-motivated, reliable and committed with abilities and desire to deliver and seek continuous improvement
• Excellent interpersonal skills and highly experienced at dealing with senior stakeholders and users at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Cantonese, English. Mandarin is highly beneficial.
