The position is responsible for designing and maintaining efficient computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems. Creates, tests, and evaluates networks.  

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.
2. Design, test, and inspect data communications systems.
3. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
4. Install network hardware.
5. Develop technology roadmaps.
6. Configure network drivers for software.
7. Provide network and host based security, incident response, firewall and VPN management and administration.
8. Analyze, engineer, and execute software functions.
9. Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.
10. Manage technology vendors.
11. Determine production direction.
12. Write functional requirements/specifications documents.
13. Assess vendor development/test strategies.
14. Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.

Requirements:

1. Recognized degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
2. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Network Architect role.
3. Holder of CISSP, CCNA, CCNP and CCIE
4. Data Center Infrastructure design / build / transfer project experience; Data Center Migration and Consolidation experience.
5. Strong understanding of MPLS, Systems / Network Engineering, Architecture and Routing and Switching.
6. Requires Enterprise level routing and switching experience, BGP / OSPF protocol experience, Spanning tree, VLAN Mapping, QnQ and other layer 2 switching experience, Layer 3 routing experience (6500/4500/Nexus series), Network design / documentation experience.
7. Expert knowledge in Cisco Nexus technologies of vPC, VDC and 10G technologies.
8. Network Security background with Enterprise level network support experience.
9. Experience in scalable Wifi network implementation.
10. Strong architecture experience is needed to assist with the global consolidation and migration of Data Centers.
