Responsibilities 

• Create new and update existing 3D CAD files
• Generate 2D mechanical drawings
• Build engineering samples and prototype assemblies as required for in-house tests
• Debug mechanical designs through CAD and prototype assessment
• Conceive and write test protocols to verify if the medical device answers to predefined requirements
• Design custom-made fixtures to execute verification protocols
• Execute and coordinate verification protocols at external and internal partner labs
• Generate test reports of verification and engineering activities
• Propose, refine and evaluate assembly instructions for manufacturing engine

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design or other relevant discipline
• 3-5 years (or 2 prior roles) of relevant experience in multi-disciplinary product development teams
• Experience in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks
• Solid understanding of contemporary manufacturing techniques
• Understands how to apply industrial standards to verification documentation
• Hands-on, handy with measuring equipment and/or able to learn how to use new equipment fast
• Effective communicator through technical document writing
