Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Vice President – PTS Department, the Solution Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of commercial applications in PTS Department.

The Solution Manager will work with third party contractors, sales, and end users (both internal & external) in presale support, requirement definition, system analysis and design, evaluation, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the system delivery for the commercial project bided.
  • Lead a development & support team to formulate user specification and/ or functional specification for system designs.
  • Review system designs and modify if necessary to make the system design more efficient and meet Tradelink customer requirements.
  • Design and lead the development of framework; make sound decisions on system development and design issues based on best judgement.
  • Coach, motivate, guide and advise developers on project objectives and direct their works to meet goals and deadlines
  • Manage vendors and third-party contractors in fulfilling its obligation and delivering products to the satisfaction of Tradelink and meet all customer requirements.
  • Resolve problems arising from system errors identified in the testing and production environment.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Degree in Computing Science / Information Technology, or similar credential.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in system architectural design and software development of which a minimum of 5 years at the project management level, with solid knowledge in people management and system infrastructure design including hardware, software, network design, security and implementation experience.
  • Banking and vendor management experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobilepayment such as QRcode, credit card, and system development methodology is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to present technical issues in layman terms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and competent in developing system in Windows & Linux environment using C, C++, IOS, Android & java.
  • Prior experience in payment industry is preferred.
