Major Responsibilities

• Perform clearing operations duties including clearing and settlement of paper cheques, e-Cheques, bill payments and presentments, electronic clearing items and retail payments through Faster Payment System (FPS)
• Assist in monitoring and performing the clearing and settlement processes
• Attend to service hotlines in handling enquiries from member banks on the clearing and settlement services
• Participate in testing activities with member banks on subscription of clearing service
• Assist in administrative and documentation work and preparing working instructions and procedures
• Provide clerical support to the clearing and settlement services including data input
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements

• HKCEE/HKDSE or above, with tertiary education will be an advantage
• With at least 3 years of operation experience in banking or finance industry preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to communicate in written and oral English and Chinese
• Proficiency in using personal computer, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Required to work at alternative sites and perform evening/overnight shift duty according to roster
