Job Description
What the job looks like
-
Monitor actual performance against budget, prepare and analyze monthly KPI reports
-
Prepare weekly performance monitoring reports, sub trade mix, customer and volume/ profitability analysis

Report exceptions in all reports to Line Manager and follow up as needed

Collect and compile market intelligence, e.g. competition, market share studies, etc.

Assist in analyzing line changes e.g. change in rotation, vessel deployment, new lines, etc.

Provide tender analysis and pricing support during contract renewal season

Participate in annual budget preparation

Work with Trade, Countries and Sales to set and monitor business plan, including Sales Target Setting, POL/ Customer space allocation, etc.

On-going monitoring of line performance, identify exceptions/ areas of improvement and implement action plans under line manager's guidance

Deal with relevant system approval/ set up to ensure functionality of the line, e.g. route activation, tariff approval, inland tariff approval, sales target input, system set up for utilization/ customer value reports, etc.

Assist to monitor line operations, follow up on vessel schedules and alert line manager in case of possible deviation
Needs
-
Bachelor's degree in Logistics/ Shipping/ Economics/ Industrial Engineering / Business/ Management or related discipline

Excellent command of English
-
Proficiency in MS office with high level of skills in Excel

Logistics/ Shipping knowledge is an advantage
