Job Description

Our client, a financial services corporation, principally engaged in various financial products. They are looking for high calibre candidate to join their team.

 

Director - Asset Management

  

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Formulate and keep track the goals, objectives and business operations of the Group's  Fund Services offerings
  • Lead and work on conducting financial analysis, due diligence review, valuation and preparation of presentation and prospectus
  • Create pitch book materials to support proposals and support timely maket and product updates to customers
  • Create positive business relationship by regularly interacting with investment bankers and industry experts to generate continued and new investment opportunities
  • Develop key relationships with local officials and organizational heads to create a consistent resource of new, timely local market information
  • Actively work with portfolio companies to develop their strategies and operations to create value with best business results
  • Coordinate asset management efforts with other departments across the business in providing professional services, analysis and advice
  • Provide technical and skills coaching and foster personnel development in core asset management disciplines, continually recruit, develop and maintain excellent talent for future business growth
  • Prepare and review corporate budgets, adjust staffing and business plans accordingly
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments when required

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor and/or Masters degree, technical background would be preferred; MBA/CFA a plus 
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in venture capital or private equity areas; financial advisory service and corporate financing project experience a plus
  • Familiar with the finance/investment sector in PRC a MUST, and of sound knowledge of the laws, regulations and other regulatory requirements in the PRC a MUST
  • Strong credit analysis and business acumen preferred
  • Strong sense of responsibility and familiar with the business life
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, flexible and able to manage multitask
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent / native in Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Wind
