Job Description
Our client is a Global Investment bank with a boutique Infrastructure team based in Hong Kong to support the APAC offices. We are looking for a Network Engineer to support the core network services for offices as well as to support the trading platform. This will be a role with both BAU support and new project work involved. You will report into the Head of Infrastructure directly and enjoy a wide range of job scope.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain network monitoring tool with scripting languages
- Configure and support Cisco routing, switching, Cisco firewall, VPN, etc
- Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure for high frequency trading
- Resolve ad-hoc issues
- Provide recommendation to improve current infrastructure
Requirements:
- Diploma holder or above
- 3-6+ years experience of network engineering and support
- Strong with CISCO, network protocols, monitoring/analytics and diagnostic tools
- Good with writing scripts for monitoring and automation purposes, such as Perl, Javascript, Python, PHP
- Good communication skills and an excellent team player with regional and global team
