Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

1. Manage events and community engagement activities

  • Organize events and activities that can lead to retail branding promotions and community engagement
  • Act as focal contact point with Caritas Hong Kong to fulfill the role of our Bank as Chairman of Caritas's Fund Raising Committee
  • Prepare event rundown, deployment plan; develop speeches, briefing documents, fact sheets, press kits, event materials etc. and act as a facilitator / MC if needed

 

2. Develop partnership promotions

  • Active sourcing of partners and identify sponsorship opportunities that can support synergized promotions
  • Initiate promotions strategies and offers with partners that can achieve a win-win promotion
  • Manage relationships with partners

 

3. PR marketing

  • Organize PR events and activities to raise awareness of the Banks' retail products, technology and development, to increase the presence of the Banks' presence in HK media outlets
  • Create attractive content including press release, interviews Q&As, online content,
  • Develop PR angles, provide key messages, pitch stories and fulfill media requests
  • Provide internal communications support

 

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate; preferably degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or Language Studies
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in retail bank marketing with experience in digital marketing, editorial on web and social media is preferable
  • Prior experience for organization of corporate or CSR events for branding promotion, digital marketing is a plus
  • Good knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua (Writing test is required)
  • Good leadership and communications skills and able to manage stakeholders
  • Good project management and presentation skills
  • Mature, independent, business-oriented, able to work under pressure  
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese typing
