Responsibilities

• Responsible for user interface design of mobile apps and websites
• Collaborate with developers to meet project requirements
• Translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant design
• Create mock-ups for proposed project pages and update them as needed
• Maintain and update web content
• Able to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
• Discover requirements, needs and insights through immersive user research, UX workshop, user interview, focus group, etc.
• Lead workshops with clients or stakeholders to understand the design problems and co-create the solutions
• Achieve desirable solution through design thinking and methodology such as creating personas, journey maps, user flows, wire frames, prototypes, user testing, etc.
• Validate design concepts with stakeholders by creating rapid prototypes
• Work with a team of designers and developers to deliver the best experience for cross platform applications
• Keep on evolving by keep an eye on UI/UX and technology trends

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Interaction / Web Design, Multimedia or in Design strategies/services/interactions or relevant disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in website / mobile apps UI design; or as a User Experience Designer, interaction designer, User Experience Lead or similar roles;
• Proficiency in graphics & web design software such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Knowledge in responsive design and usability best practices (wire frames and prototypes, UX process)
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, iOS & Android app interface is a plus
• Experienced in user research, prototyping and user testing methodologies
• Knowledge of design and prototyping tools to generate and visualize idea
• Able to lead conversations and presentations to clients or stakeholders
• Responsible, detail-minded and able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment with tight schedule
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese is a must
