Requirements

• Native speaker of English

• Qualifications in Early Childhood Education (such as Nursery Nursing, NQV 3, PGDE, PCGE, BEd, or equivalent) or previous kindergarten teaching experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with an approachable manner toward parents and colleagues

• Ability to create an age-appropriate environment in which children can flourish

• Ability to work cooperatively with support teachers, other colleagues, and the parent community

Responsibilities

• Implementing the prescribed weekly and monthly programme, utilizing the provided themed readers, phonics programme, songs and rhymes

• Conducting Show and Tell exercises weekly

• Maintaning and utilizing the English Team’s inventory of educational materials, props and manipulatives

• Participating in relevant professional development seminars and workshops

• Attending all school events, such as Parent-Child Picnics and Christmas Parties

• Arranging English-language content and games for holiday celebrations

• Implementing biannual formal and informal student assessment

• Miscellaneous English-language support duties as assigned
