Role Overview

This is a professional position with RA/QA responsibilities meeting all applicable requirements for Health Supplements, Food, Cosmetic, Medical Devises categories’ business. The Regulatory Affairs / Quality Assurance Specialist is experienced in multiple countries & categories and is capable of applying that experience and in-depth knowledge to work independently with minimal guidance from management. May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Ability to solve complex problems affecting the regulatory compliance & quality system. May serve as representative on taskforces, councils or improvement initiatives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory / Quality management of Food/Skin care/Supplement products.
  • Develop product specification & review and approve batch release.
  • Review and approve packaging and marketing materials to comply with regional regulation.
  • Liaise with and guide the oversea regulatory affairs / quality officer to ensure quick and quality submission of registration dossiers.
  • Ensure regional regulatory compliance (product license renewal, etc…) in liaison with local regulations and corporate policies, global procedures and multifunction team as directed.
  • Collect and track quality system data and metrics for routine reporting as part of Daily Management and take appropriate countermeasures as required.
  • Lead tasks in support of non-conformances, CAPA, process validation, record management, document controls. Answer internal customers enquiries and provide best in class solution when required
  • Customer Complaint and Adverse Event Investigations.
  • Conduct tasks in support of QA and RA risk management: identify, solve and document problems and risks within the regulatory/quality system.
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant regulations and quality system requirements that affect the business.
  • Be in direct contact with the local Health Authorities and NGO.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Technical/health-related science ( Engineer, Life Science, Pharmacy)
  • Experience in similar field/job function for 2-3 years in multinational FMCG companies.
  • Consumer health care products experience will be an added bonus.
  • Basic understanding of technical testing / specification and GMP, GVP, GCP.
  • Knowledge of the local and Asia regional regulatory / quality requirements.
  • Ability to apply practical QA experience and knowledge to multiple areas of quality assurance.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and mitigate risk (e.g. product, material, compliance, supply).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, well-organized and be able to work independently and be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skill, multitasking and problem solving skill.
  • Good command in spoken and written English, Mandarin & Cantonese.
