Job Description
The Company
Our client is a reputable insurance firm is now recruiting multiple Java professionals, ranging from Analyst Programmer to System Analyst, to join their rapidly expanding IT team. Great project exposure and working environment.
The Role
- Gather business requirements, perform analysis and work out project prioritization which agree with business and IT team
- Prepare documentation on functional and technical specification
- Perform system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement
- Prepare SIT / UAT test plan and manage test execution and documentation to ensure completeness and traceability
- Ensure change requests are well managed and prioritized according the change management control
- Coordinate and facilitate the project execution related activities
- Perform user training and prepare user manual
- Coordinate with IT and user team on system deployment arrangement
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Your Profile
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years' related working experience for System Analyst position, candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer OR Senior Analyst Programmer
- Solid experience in Java, JBOSS, Open API and DevOps, Web Services, e.g REST, JSON, AWS / Azure Cloud
- Experience in application development and implementation of finance or insurance application systems
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Good knowledge of software implementation best practices
- Good project management (Waterfall/Agile Scrum) and communication skills, able to work with user departments and vendors
- Good technical background, analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Good team player, pro-active and self-initiative
- Candidates without Financial Services Insitution background are welcome
