Job Description
Job Overview
Security Engineer performs deployment of internally developed security products or third party security products for projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementing various security solutions through deployment, configuration, integration of systems
- Collaborating with Project managers and other team members to achieve project tasks on time
- liaise with product vendors for troubleshooting and support
- Conducts user and admin training
- Capable of working unsupervised, but able to interact and cooperate with other team leaders and members to carry out project and support tasks.
- Tier 2 standby support for 7x24 (non-shift work)
- Demonstrate at least 4 of the skills listed in the "Technical Skill" section
- Demonstrate the ability to drive for creative, innovative ways to solve problem
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree Holder in Information Technology / Computer Engineering or related disciplines
- At least 3 years experience in network and systems security (Candidates with less experience will be consider as a junior position)

- Security Information and Event Management
- Network monitoring/IPS/IDS
- Windows and Linux administration
- Networking infrastructure
- Internet Protocols and Services
- Data Loss Prevention system
- Endpoint security, Antivirus solutions
- Security Orchestration Automation and Response
Certifications (1 or more of the followings):
- CISSP/CISA/CISM
- CEH
- CCNA
The followings are advantage to know:
- ESXi administration
- Python and Bash shell scripting
- Awareness of SCADA/IoT technologies
