PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Application Support & Maintenance

• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the function’s application architecture and information systems
• Understand the relationship between the business, data and supporting technology
• Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT technical strategy
• Provide primary support for Oracle Xstore and interim support of other 3^rd party POS systems across Asian markets. Manage Level 3/4 Support tickets.
• Partner with Asia HelpDesk on overall support ticket KPI’s, root cause analysis.
• Analyze incidents to identify root cause of issue and offer solutions/work around, where applicable
• Collaborate and participate in discussions with I&O to ensure that the environment and application are operating in optimal fashion
• Establish and maintain QA standards
• Manage ongoing maintenance of applications (upgrades, patches/hot fixes)
• Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date
• Ensure that team is adhering to strict compliance of SOX controls

 Team Management

• Resource planning & Management, timesheet compliance
• Develop, coach junior associates in areas of interest and in the best interest of PVH

Project Implementation

• Ensure that all projects adhere to project management methodology - Agile or waterfall
• Adhere to PVH PMO guidelines
• Prepare and present status updates for various projects
• Provide input on SOW & contracts
• Advise on system options, risks, cost versus benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals
• Ensure that business requirements are documented and signed off before start of development
• Ensure that all approvals are obtained before consultancy / development has started
• Oversee deliverables from external (vendor) and/or internal resources
  • Gathering functional requirements
  • Developing/Reviewing technical specifications
  • Custom development
  • Application design discussions w/vendor
  • Testing, deployment & hypercare

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

• Undergraduate/graduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience managing or supporting regional projects with high levels of complexity
• A minimum of 8 years’ of platform integration, deployment & support experience
• Possess understanding of information systems, architecture standards, systems design and project management methodologies 
• Experience with POS, CRM technology solutions/platforms a plus
• Familiarity with the retail fashion industry and business process a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels in the organization
• Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical documents and vice versa
• Strong organizational skillset
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment; work well under pressure
• Able to prioritize and delegate work as appropriate
