Job Responsibilities:

The candidate’s primary responsibility is to generate alpha through active trading of fixed income securities, and develop and implement hedging strategies to manage risks associated with the company’s liability and asset portfolios, including but not limited to:

• Seize market opportunities to generate alpha through active trade of fixed income securities
• Develop hedging capabilities by negotiating ISDA/GMRA with external counterparties and developing internal derivative trading procedures
• Conduct research and provide forecast on global economic indicators, particularly interest rate and credit spread movement
• Develop hedging strategies to manage risk in company’s fixed income asset portfolios

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, finance, investment or related disciplines
• At least 10 years of experience in financial industry
• At least 5 years of experience in fixed income investment management
• At least 2 years of experience in developing and implementing hedging strategies
• Result oriented
• Fluent English and Mandarin 
• Experience with insurance product is a plus
