Job Description
Job description and responsibilities
- Sub-team head of sales management
- Able to manage small BAT in house sales team
- Able to lead on sales aspects such as cross selling with GI, affinity Partnership etc.
- Able to help with sales planning, remuneration design and activity management
- Has some relationships in the HK Life market or with potential partnerships.
- Relationship building with different distribution channels including General Agent, In-house agent, Salaried Consultant, etc.
Relationship Building
- Provide necessary support for their achievement of target
- Information gathering for management's monitoring
Office Planning
- Allocate Office space for different distribution channels and different level of seniority with Chief Business Development Officer
- Assist Chief Business Development Officer to project the office planning for future development
Compensation
- With Agency Sales Support team, ensure the compensation package is accurate and well delivered within Company guidelines under appropriate approval process.
Report & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports for management review
- Co-ordinate and work with UW Department to prepare the outstanding underwriting reports
- Assist Chief Business Development Officer to prepare business plan or forecast
Registration and Monitoring of CPD
- Co-ordinate with Agency team to make sure all distribution channels are properly registered
- Ensure all distribution channels meets the requirement of CPD
International/Internal Awards
- Prepare regular reports to keep track of the progress of International/Internal Awards
- Co-ordinate with different organizations to make sure the applications for awards are completed
Conventions & Award
- Organize Overseas Convention for those who exceeded the company target and Award Presentation for Qualifiers who achieved different level of awards both locally and internationally in accordance with business plan and Company guidelines
Staffing
- Provide direction or training to sub-ordinates when necessary
- Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details activities to ensure the team member can achieve their own objectives
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships within the team and other colleagues of the Company
Knowledge / Experience
- University graduate and above
- At least 6- 10 years working experience with 2-3 years in managerial role
- Good understanding of agency operations & management issues
- Strategic mindset and visionary, able to think beyond status quo
- Demonstrated experience in strategic implementation of agency and distribution strategies
Skills / Behaviors
- Result oriented
- Good relationship building with effective communication skills
- Good presentation and motivational skills
- Able to handles conflicts and self motivated in difficult situations
- Persuasive and able to convey ideas, plus negotiation, influencing and leadership skills
- Proficient in English and Chinese, spoken and written, Putonghua a plus
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, word and Powerpoint
