Job Purpose:

• Provide risk management services that support and facilitate the delivery of business plans, projects and initiatives of the Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management framework, and establish relevant risk policies & procedures
• Assess and report financial risks including emerging risks, and recommend risk mitigating measures and key risk indicators for monitoring
• Review and prepare regular risk report and ALM report
• Assist in the implementation of RBC framework including risk identification and ORSA report preparation
• Prepare CISSA report to Bermuda Monetary Authority to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement
• Perform new product pricing review and risk assessment
• Perform investment risk monitoring and assessment
• Perform business plan risk assessment
• Advise management on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in place to adhere to risk management policies and guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Undertake ad-hoc projects in financial risk, capital, ALM or financial related
• Provide the required support to our Macau business when necessary

Job Requirements:

• University degree in actuarial science or qualified actuary
• Over 8 years’ experience in the insurance industry
• Experience in actuarial, risk management, financial risk internal audit or control functions
• Good understanding of the insurance business and the risk management framework
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 is a plus
• Good communication skills in both English, Chinese and Mandarin is preferred
