A reputable company with strong international presence that has enjoyed steady growth in the past few decades has recently created a new position in their Purchasing department. They are seeking rising stars in the merchandising world with experience in the Bags category who are keen to hone their managerial skills.

Job duties:

• Sourcing, handling inquiries, product development, price negotiations, orders, ensuring product quality and shipments follow-up
• Liaise between customers, internal parties, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Monitor inventory and shipment progress
• Manage small team

• Degree holder in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent
• Min. 7 years solid experience in merchandising, purchasing, sourcing (bags, amenities kit, toiletries, etc.) acquired from trading companies
• Must have min. 1-2 years of management experience
• Able to deal with customers and factories independently and work in fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in ERP system, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and etc
• Willingness to travel
