Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Asia Pacific distributors’ account management and business development, overseeing all sales & marketing activities to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for Asia Pacific’s sales and marketing budgets. Formulate strategic plans to meet sales targets.
- Identify and evaluate potential sales leads.
- Responsible for the negotiation and upkeep of distributorship agreements.
- Work closely with distributors to compile regular reporting, to monitor performance and provide in-depth evaluation.
- Act as brand ambassador to drive and monitor the brand and product presence in the marketplace; and ensure coherence with corporate requirements.
- Liaise with internal parties and distributors to provide necessary support to the regional sales & marketing activities.
- Supervise regional distributor’s local sales and marketing strategies to ensure global synergy and corporate guidelines are met.
- Act as a product expert and develop training tools to deliver training to regional sales teams and address product enquiries.
- Report on regional sales trends, market research and analysis.
- Supervise order fulfilment process.
Requirements:
- Degree holder preferably in Business/Sales/Marketing or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years relevant working experience preferably gained from sales management of premium brand consumer goods.
- Proven track record of key account management and meeting company KPIs.
- Experience in Asia Pacific consumer market is preferred.
- Knowledge in B2B export supply chain and B2C retailing (online & offline) is an advantage.
- Experience in children’s product industry is an advantage.
- Some overseas travel is required.
- Mature, well-spoken and well-presented, confident with customer presentations and negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, well-organized and possess the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; attention to detail is a must.
- Positive attitude and team player mindset.
