Job Description

We are currently looking for a high caliber Human Resources Manager to lead the HR operations for our Hong Kong offices and provide leadership to the team in delivering comprehensive HR services to various stakeholders. In this role, the incumbent would be a trusted advisor to the business in areas of employee engagement & retention, talent management, employee relations, compliance, delivery of strategic HR projects etc.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Director, Asia Pacific in the overall management and administration of the Human Resources function to deliver excellent employee experience across multiple sites in Hong Kong.

What you’ll learn & achieve:

  • This is a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our initiatives around flexible fulfillment centers. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
  • Provides leadership to Human Resources team and develops goals and assists in the development of Human Resources policies, practices, procedures, and programs.
  • Provides counseling on Human Resources issues to management and employees.
  • Provides guidance and manages the performance of subordinates in the application of policies and activities related to employee services, compensation, benefits, employment, learning and development, and Talent Management. Establishes teams and facilitates teamwork when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What makes you a great fit:

  • University degree with over 8 years relevant experiences, preferably in a professional services or multinational corporation. Experience within a multicultural and diversified environment is preferred.
  • You have demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external partners in order to achieve desired outcomes. Be able to interact with clients on business and high level Human Resources matters.
  • Excellent communication, consultation and interpersonal skills’ distinctive ability to interact with all levels of management and clients; good proficiency in Mandarin and English.
  • You can effectively copes with and manages change for the team; Has the ability to decide and act without having the total picture and comfortably handles risk and uncertainty.
  • You are culturally sensitive, a team player who can exhibit strong leadership, and be able to motivate team.
  • Applies judgment and acts according to the UL mission and standards of ethics and integrity.
