Job Description
Woolworths Group Asia is currently looking for a Culture & People Specialist (HR Officer) to join our regional Culture & People Team based out of our Hong Kong office.
THE ROLE
- Responsible for payroll for Hong Kong and Macau (may support other teammate on other Asian countries payroll) in an accurate and timely manner
- Support HR daily operations, such as compensation & benefits administration, tax filing including tax equalization, visa application and all HR related functions
- Review the employee benefits programme including medical, life insurance and provident fund
- Prepare regular reports on HR analytics
- Maintain and update the database for local and regional HRIS
- Assist or lead any ad hoc HR project
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree Holder in Human Resources or other relevant discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience in C&B gained in a multinational corporation, with experience in a regional role highly preferred
- Well-versed in Hong Kong & Macau Employment Ordinance and other relevant rules & regulations, knowledge in Thailand and Bangladesh Employment Law would be an advantage
- Strong computer skills especially in Excel & proficiency in using HRIS/ Payroll System
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese. Putonghua would be an advantage
- Work flexibly, able to communicate with people of different levels of seniority and backgrounds, whilst being culturally sensitive
- Have a strong customer service and ever-improving mindset
