Job Description

Being responsible for the Greater China market, with a focus on Macao, the position is responsible for the design of training solutions for banks and other banking industry players to build up talent pipelines and for individuals to sharpen their skills. He/she will also be responsible to develop new business leads. Another important duty of this position is to increase the Institute’s brand awareness and to promote member value.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Manage PQP programme offering in Macao including facilitating programme localization and developemt and implementation of related policies and procedures
  • Develop non-PQP training programmes (including topics, programme introduction, course outlines, potential trainers profiles, etc.) for use in business development in Mainland China, Macao, and Taiwan. Implemetn training solutions for the Macao market
  • Drive business development in Macao by regular visits to Banks, Regulators, Universities and other stakeholders to solicit new business opportunities
  • Design and implement training solutions for Mainland China, Macao and Taiwan
  • Execute measures to evaluate and monitor the quality of training programmes, and make recommendations when necessary
  • Collaborate with external partners/trainers to strengthen and expand training resources
  • Propose plans and work with internal and external partners to increase enrollments in training programmes and membership events in order to promote brand awareness
  • Define, prepare and monitor business development and budget plan to achieve annual target
  • Prepare management reports for review by top management
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or top management
  • Occasional travelling is required

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Working Location: Hong Kong - Sheung Wan
  • Degree holder or above; major in Banking & Finance disciplines prefer
  • Experience gain from Banking & Finance or Training & Development industry is preferred
  • Familiar with Macao business culture and owning an established network is essential
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in supervisory level
  • Holders of HKIB professional qualifications such as Certified Banker, CFMP, ACsP, ARWP/CRWP, or AAMLP/CAMLP will be advantageous
  • Outstanding customer service and networking skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
  • Strong project and event management and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated & a good team player
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for the Senior Manager position
