Job Description

Our client is well-established Hong Kong bank and they are currently looking for someone to join their dynamic team immediately. Candidates with less experience but are interest in developing career in data warehouse will also be considered.

Responsibilities: 

• Make sure data analysis, cleansing and data governance projects go through SDLC activities
• Work with business team to define the data quality business rules and structure
• Work with technical team to perform data cleansing and provide troubleshoot on data management system
• Set direction, guidelines and procedures of data governance and data quality standard according to user requirement
• Conduct ongoing monitoring on the conformance with the data quality management procedures and guidelines
• Conduct presentation to business counterparts and user 

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years' experience in IT industry with at least 3 years in data management, data governance, data related analysis and design, data modelling and/or related application development projects
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the banking sector
• Solid experience in SQL, VBA, data query and integration tools (Cognos, DataStage, Power BI, MS Access) and ETL programming
• Solid SDLC and project management experience preferably Core Banking system revamp project is essential
• General understanding in data quality improvement, data management processes and business intelligence application is preferred
• Professional communication and presentation skills in Cantonese and English, with Putonghua an advantage.
• Confident to deal with various business stakeholders independently
