Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand the market requirements.
• Ensure a constant delivering results of the stakeholders and in line with the organisation’s business plan.
• Ensure the continuity of supply and best value are achieved so as to keep the organization ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Textile / University graduate.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience of which 3 years in buying role in buying office or Headquarters environment.
• Strong technical knowledge in garment/yarn construction, washing, sewing, trims & accessories etc. in denim product, up to a level to be able to assess production comments/quality and to make competent decisions on alternatives.
• Strong task based management skills and in-depth current market knowledge of suppliers, production capacities and capability analysis
• Excellent command of spoken & written English with professional interpersonal and communication skills. Can communicate in French is a definite advantage.
• Strong team leader, with ability to inspire confidence and influence working relationship, whilst displaying team player qualities. Be flexible.
• Strong negotiation skill and can collaborate with his internal & external customers.
