Job Description
Your Position
You will be responsible for working with the Compliance Director by performing duties to ensure compliance with the relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as in-house policies and procedures by the various business units of the Hong Kong offices.
Your Responsibilities
- To assist in the dissemination of quality compliance advice and support on client acceptance based on the prevailing company and group policies as well as the relevant legislation, rules and industry practice pertaining to trust services, company services and fund services
- To conduct and report on compliance monitoring on a timely basis, including but not limited to regular review of client entities, transaction monitoring, processing & clearance of suspicious hits, and specific theme review
- To conduct compliance investigation pertaining to incidents, complaints or administration issues
- To conduct or assist in conducting compliance induction to new staff
- To maintain compliance record for management information and reporting purposes
- To participate in ad hoc projects
Your Profile
- Degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 year’s experience in compliance
- Preferably with experience in trust/corporate/fund administration services
- Familiar with CDD requirement under AMLO
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Independent, meticulous, pro-active, attentive to details, self-motivated, outspoken, keen to learn, and capable of meeting new challenges with excellent communication skills
