Embedded full time within the 24/7 Regional Security Services Centre of a major international Financial Institution in Hong Kong, the Regional Security Intelligence Analyst is the focal point for coordinating responses to security incidents and crisis situations across the Asia Pacific region which may expose the organization’s staff, business, reputation and facilities to risk. As an integral part of the regional team, the successful candidate will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with other team members and security professionals to address an array of security risk issues across the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis into security intelligence and geopolitical issues in Asia Pacific, ensure timely escalation of significant risks to relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate closely with the firms employees responsible for security operations throughout APAC, threat monitoring, incident responses and management
• Prepare case documentation and analysis results and have an excellent record-keeping practice to ensure all records to be maintained and archived properly
• Ensure all inquiries and reports from internal clients are responded to in a timely manner
• Assist in regional initiatives and projects and raise any concerns or issues where appropriate
• Assist the preparation of management reports and other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements:

While comprehensive and job-specific training will be provided, successful candidate should have:

• Strong analytical skills
• The ability to communicate effectively in English at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Sound geo-political knowledge of the Asia Pacific region
• Proficient computer skills especially standard Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Relevant work experience in law enforcement, corporate security or customer services, preferred but not essential
• Require to work shift duties (approximately 20 days per month)
• Fresh graduate with proactive attitude will be considered
