This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice in the overall management and supervision of quality aspects of asset replacement / enhancement / upgrading projects of Technical Services Department (TSD)
• Monitor the performance of contractors’ quality management systems and conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure that the construction and/maintenance works are carried out in compliance with the required quality plans and standards
• Review and endorse the contractor’s quality related submissions including method statements,  quality manuals and plans to ensure appropriate measures and procedures are in place
• Identify potential improvement opportunities and liaise with TSD project teams and contractors to develop and implement improvement plans and solutions to enhance the team’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct incident investigations and recommend remedial measures to prevent reoccurrence
• Proactively communicate and hold regular meetings with project teams and contractors to continually improve quality performance

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Engineering / Architecture / Surveying or related disciplines with at least 6 years’ relevant experience in quality and/or knowledge project management in a sizeable corporations
• Professional qualification in Engineering / Architecture / Surveying or related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is required
• Experience in site supervision of airport works or large scale facilities' improvement project is an advantage
• Proactive mindset and result-oriented with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
