Purpose of the role

Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, this role with a regional capacity is responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis to ensure financial performance is accurately recorded and business operates within the appropriate control environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly group reporting pack and quarterly performance review
• Responsible for budgets, forecasts and long term financial plan on consolidation and sub-region level and by business 
• Assist in strengthening internal controls and risk management  by establishing best practices
• Act as the finance partner for business units and functional heads and provide objective, balanced, informed insights via annual budgeting/monthly expense forecast and reporting.
• Ensure that Asia meets group reporting deadlines and Country Finance across Asia

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or related discipline
• Qualified Accountant ie. CPA, ACCA
• Minimum 7 years commercial finance experience and external audit background
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good organization ability and inter-personal skills to work with different departments, adaptable to quick and new changes
• Candidates with a sourcing or FMCG background will be highly preferred
• Self-motivated, independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Proficiency in using Excel, Word, Power-point and e-banking
