United Outcomes has an immediate three month contract opportunity for an Infrastructure Project Manager – this role has the possibility of being extended. As a Project Manager you will be accountable for the full life cycle of the project having well versed project management skills and excellent knowledge of project methodologies. As this is an immediate opportunity, we can only consider those candidates with the right to work in Hong Kong without any visa transfer required.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Programme Manager and Business Sponsors / Stakeholders for delivery and development of the Project including initiation, business case approval, scoping, scheduling, solution design, development, testing, quality assurance, testing, training and handover
• Work with the Product Management, Sales and Engineering teams to secure costs and business requirements for the project
• Effective vendor management across selection, delivery and end of project review
• Secure sign-offs on scope and costs from project stakeholders and/or sponsors
• Work with the product management team to evaluate benefits of the business cases
• Package the scope, costs and benefits into a business case submission securing the funding drop down through the clients internal processes of acquiring funding
• Document and maintain a schedule for design a build

Key Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor Degree with at least 7-10 years of proven experience within Project Management (including vendor management) with 6-8 years’ experience within a Telecommunications environment
• Strong knowledge across one or more of the following: Networks, WAN/LAN, Switches, Data, Internet / Wireless, Fiber Optic, Routers, Connectivity
• Consultancy experience is highly desirable
• Effective written and spoken English & Cantonese (preferred) communication and the ability to build relationship at all levels of an organization.
• Flexible and solution driven, able to adapt to a quickly changing business environment and competing client priorities
• Able to take full ownership of projects
