Job Description
Essential Duties
- Accountable for ensuring the delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirement’s to enable the desired capabilities.
- Responsible for the Enterprise Class Structure and the overall application design. Ensures guardrail compliant, maintainable and performant PRPC solutions by providing clear guidance on design and development.
- Create functional, technical & solution design specification documents, validate the architecture against requirements and assumptions.
- Work in Agile methodology and support the iterations to size, manage scope, risk and provide estimate level of effort.
- Responsible to establish standards, guidelines and best practices on Pega development and drive for process improvement.
- Expertise and good understanding on architecting and designing for performance and scalability Pega solution.
- Ensure detailed coding & design reviews, compliance with architecture, coding, UI, security and compliance standards.
- In charge of the development progress and takes action to deal with any exceptions, problems and unforeseen events in a timely manner.
- Mentor and oversee work of Pega system architect team members.
- Design and support data migration of legacy data to the new application.
- Aware of and aligns to gaming regulatory and mandated regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree Bachelor in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related
- Minimum 10 year of related experience, at least 4 years in managerial level
- Knowledgeable on Casino, Marketing and Hotel operations domain is a plus.
- Experience in all aspects of Pega frameworks like Customer Services / sales Automation, Marketing and Pega Mobile
- Working Experience in Java, J2EE, relational database (MS SQL), Agile, DevOps, JBOSS application server, HTML, CSS, XML, Tibco EMS, JMS, REST / SOAP web service / API integration
- Experience in Pega Marketing development, configuration and maintenance
- Strong understanding on Pega Platform and demonstrated experience in hands-on solution architecture and end-to-end application design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to Macau, Hong Kong or Zhuhai (Mainland China) as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
