Product Engineer (Information Security)

Our client is a global established telecommunication company. To cope with their business expansion, they are now seeking for a candidate for a Product Engineer (Information Security).

Main duties and responsibilities

•          Responsible for the design, planning, project management, implementation and on-going development of existing IT services
•          Assess the potential cyber security impact of emerging technologies and innovations, and include known risk and issues.
•          Provide support to daily operation and emergency support services.
•          Translate business requirements into technical solutions by gathering requirement, defining project plan, designing service implementation workflow, process and scenario, and conducting UAT
•          To identify potential threats of and report on security violations and control weaknesses in cyber security by determining causes, possible solutions and remedial actions required for ensuring data security.
•          To recommend and implement changes to procedures and systems designed to enhance systems security.
•          Responsible for product integration with internal IT systems including but not limited to customer relationship management system, price management system, billing system and customer portal
•          Administrative and technical support to internal parties related to the IT services

Candidate Profile

•          Bachelor degree with Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines with Mechanical Professional Engineer registration
•          +5 years Telco/ICT background and experience
•          Hands-on experience with any two of the following: UTM, NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, Email Security Gateway, End Point Security, UEBA
•          Knowledge of server and network virtualization and administration is advantageous
•          Holder of any security related certification such as CISSP, CCNP Security, NSE or PCNSE is advantage
•          Self-motivated, independent, and able to work under tight timeline
•          Good in both Written and Spoken English/Chinese
