Job Purpose:

Manage product development projects and carry out market research to ensure competitiveness of our products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Product development and implementation
  • Assist in managing the implementation schedule of product development projects
  • Prepare competitive analysis, draft product concept paper, business case, product specifications, proposal requirements, policy provisions, and product launch booklet
  • Review marketing and training materials prepared for new and revamped products
  • Carry out user acceptance testing on proposals of new products
• Market Research
  • Identify opportunities and threats from within and outside the industry
  • Track competitors’ activities and market share
  • Perform analysis of competitors’ products
  • Research new product ideas and concepts
• Provide management with general market intelligence on competitors’ activities, market developments and market share analysis, such as commentary report on quarterly IA statistics
• Conduct product trainings to internal staffs and handle product queries
• Handle assigned ad hoc projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Achievement in LOMA will be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in product development and market research and at least 5 years’ experience in life insurance industry
• Less experience will be considered as Officer / Senior Officer
• Knowledge of life insurance products, project management skills and proficiency in using MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
