The Role

• Creating, building, and fostering the global developer community for MAD Gaze
• Establishing and enforcing community standards, rules and policies
• Designing and implementing innovative growth strategies to target developers
• Managing team of moderators and external third-party supporting community management
• Identifying and working with tech bloggers, influencers and communities to help extend and optimize product awareness
• Developing and animating community channels, devising a programme of industry events, webinars/seminars and tech meetups, and acting as Ambassador to engage and enable the developer  community to increase awareness, mindshare and adoption
• Designing programs to identify, attract, and retain developers
• Designing programmes to take developers through a journey from curious to active to advocate to evangelist, and monitoring and optimizing the user journey to increase stickiness and lifetime value
• Managing programs, workflows, and systems to identify and cultivate developer feedback to improve the UX
• Amalgamating and prioritizing developer’s input to inform future internal development priorities
• Managing positioning and communications toward the developer community
• Reporting to the Brand Director to feed into enterprise-level storytelling and PR, content and corporate communications, as well as initiatives such as the website content
• Working closely with Product Development, Software Development, Technical and Customer Support and Design teams

To Qualify

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Marketing or other related disciplines
• 1-2 years relevant working experience in managing and building a community team for a developer or consumer facing platform or social networks
• Familiar with community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, GitHub, Facebook Groups, etc.
• Result-driven, detail-minded, innovative, creative and self-motivated
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Excellence command in spoken and written English and Chinese is a MUST

Bonus Points

• Technically-minded, familiar with open source technology and APIs
• Digital marketing experience, particularly in technical, developer or entrepreneur markets
• Experience running real-world events
• Video production and streaming abilities
