We are a French Based company and are selling toys, baby care and children furniture products in France. We are the market leader for educational toys. We require a bright and energetic candidate to join our team. This post is based in Hong Kong and reports to the Quality Manager. 

Quality Engineer Assistant

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, quality or related field

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in Quality Assurance and toys safety testing is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of EN71 toy safety standards and New Toys Safety Standard (2009/48/EC)

• Good analytical and problem solving techniques

• Familiar with furniture and baby care products would be an advantage

• Able to work independently with the supplier/ factory and third party labs etc

• Good communication skill 

• Good command of English and Mandarin 

• Immediately available preferred

• Fresh graduate is also considered

Duties

• Implement company New Toys Safety Directive policy and procedures

• Educate new suppliers for the Technical Data Verification (TDV) requirement and preparation

• Communicate and consolidate test reports and TDV files from suppliers 

• Review test reports and TDV files to ensure they are compliant to the company and regulatory requirements

• Review and validate laboratories test reports

• Coordinate and monitor the Pre-production testing (PPT), Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) and pre-shipment testing (PST) with suppliers and factories

• Handle post shipment inspection and customer complaint with supplier/ factory independently

• Perform follow-up actions on failed inspections and testing, such as to investigate the problem and provide solution

• Stationed in Hong Kong
