Job Description

ERM is seeking a motivated Principal Consultant who is interested in participating on a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Hong Kong.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing various feasibility and EIA for waste management projects
  • Responsible for overseeing the technical review and quality of project deliverables
  • Manage, develop and grow a team of environmental consultants
  • Deepening client relationships and business development
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering waste management and infrastructure projects
  • Project management and using strong commercial acumen

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10-15+ years EIA consultancy experience, ideally related to waste management policy, planning and feasibility studies for waste management facilities and infrastructure (eg transfer stations, landfills, materials recycling and recovery facilities, waste-to-energy facilities, etc). Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Consultant.  
  • Degree qualified in environmental engineering or management or related discipline. Masters Degree a plus
  • Excellent report writing and consulting skills
  • Experience in team management and people development
  • Candidates must be motivated, independent individuals with initiative, who can work autonomously and are committed to delivering the highest quality services to our clients
  • Excellent English language skills; Cantonese language skills an advantage but not essential
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for the Senior Consultant role
