Job Purpose

The Citygate Outlet Store Manager represents the brand in the community, ensures that all business objectives are exceeded and the highest standards of service excellence are followed while upholding our cultural ethos. As an excellent team leader, (s)he builds and leads a large team to manage the high-volume fast-moving outlet environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Objectives

• Leverage tools and resources to exceed business objectives, KPIs and Performance Goals.
• Execute RL's initiatives, promotional strategies and programs, assuring that they support RL sales, branding and business objectives.
• Surface local initiatives to build brand awareness, drive business and engage teams.

Brand

• Ensure consistent presentation standards are met, through partnership, planning, and execution.
• Ensure store environments are consistently compelling and shopping experiences are inspirational through brand representations (as outlined in our values).

People

• Is an ambassador of the Brand and demonstrate professional etiquette through integrity, honesty and respect for others.
• Evaluate/assess and performance manage sales professionals on an ongoing basis to deliver individual, team and Company objectives.
• Hold team accountable for goals, foster an inspiring environment for engagement and learning that empowers people to realize their full potential and others to emerge as leaders.
• Build partnerships on all levels through effective communication (up/down/lateral). Puts good of the company above individual needs.

Customer

• Foster an environment where service excellence values are a top priority.
• Create a proactive selling culture that focuses on building long term relationships through the conversion of walk-in customers into repeat clients. 

Requirements 

• 7-10 years of retail management experience, with at least 3-5 years within a high-volume fast-moving retail apparel environment.
• Strong business acumen.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
• Secondary education level or above.
• Enthusiasm and ability to build and maintain an environment which projects a high level of taste and sophistication consistent with RL’s lifestyle philosophy.
• Motivated self-starter, with professional attitude, strong merchandising skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
