Summary

As an Engineering Manager, you are willing to proactively own all processes and projects required to fulfill all customers’ requirements and expectations on-time in full delivery.  Apply in-depth engineering tools such as PDSA, QFD, VSM, Six Sigma etc.  You are role-model in inspiring cross-functional teams to systematically engineer processes and systems.  In-depth understanding of ISO9001:2015 methodologies and lean waste is highly appreciated.

Description

• Manage multiple full system design and development projects (QFD), lean six sigma improvements, research of technology, sourcing
  
• Proactively assess risk to full customer satisfaction and take preventive actions; develop specific contingency strategy
• Apply profound knowledge and hands-on solving real-life problems
• Apply advanced statistics to validate systems, control processes and investigate issues
• Own continual improvements (PDSA)
• Work in detail on machinery, sensor, equipment, supportive systems
• Develop operational standards, key input indicators, costing and statistical reports in accordance with policies for management review
• Develop team spirit and commit to cooperative learning

Key Qualifications

• Experience in precision injection molding and assembly processes; knowledge and experience on scientific injection molding, precision tooling, fabricating parts or jigs, fixtures, machine shop (CNC, mills, lathes) a plus
• Required to understand and build tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies (GD&T)
• Required to apply statistics to investigate, control and qualify processes and systems
• In-depth experience on quality management systems ISO9001:2015; preferably ISO/TS16949:2016, ISO13485:2016 and ISO9004:2018
  
• Good command of Microsoft Office and Minitab (or other statistical software); experience with mapping software a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical/aerospace engineering and natural sciences
• 8+ years of managing full system design and development projects in precision manufacturing
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt is required; Certified Six Sigma Black Belt a plus

• Fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese a plus
• Work in Huizhou and Hong Kong
