Job responsibilities:

1. Solicit exhibition proposals, select and curate shows, organize the exhibition calendar, install exhibitions, and handle all correspondence such as media and registrarial duties related to shipping, insurance, and handling of exhibition materials as necessary.
2. Independently develop and increase sales locally and internationally.
3. Strong ability on strategic planning, branding and building collector base.
4. Write or commission and edit the expository materials related to exhibitions, including wall labels, press release, brochures, and catalogs.
5. Coordinate exhibition-related programming, lead the planning and coordination of gallery lectures, artists' talks, and engagement with academic affairs, etc.
6. Able to build a strong gallery network, act as a consultation centre to develop/execute clients’ public art acquisition and archive artists’ work.
7. Maintain gallery website
8. Perform all other duties as may be required.
   

Report to: General Manager

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ curatorial and marketing experience in art industry eg. Art gallery / Auction house / art institutions
• Excellent in sales skill and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign
• Excellent command in written and spoken Mandarin, English and Cantonese
• Ability to engage successfully with collectors and patrons of the arts to cultivate long-standing relationships.
• Strong attention to detail.
