(Childcare for Under 3s)

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in our childcare centre for the under three age range.

The childcare facility boasts a baby and toddler room, with direct access to a generous outdoor terrace. A wide variety of age appropriate resources are on hand to support the development of the children.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in order to maintain a vibrant and high quality childcare facility that prepares children for entry into K1.

Responsibilities

• Childcare provision for under 3s, in liaison with the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Modeling and encouraging high standards and expectations of professional conduct
• Creating a stimulating environment by careful use of displays and resources
• Participating in both internal and external continuing professional development
• Reporting on progress of students to parents
• To ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to
• Work closely with K1 teachers in order to ensure smooth transition
• Supporting the daily routines of children in the setting, duties to include; toileting and nappy changes, feeding and bottle preparation, supervision of nap times

Requirements

• Near native English speaker
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential
• Mature, initiative, independent, pleasant and the ability to work as a member of a dynamic collaborative team

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm (Holidays in line with official School calendar)
