Responsibilities

• Plan and perform audit, advisory and ad-hoc assignments to evaluate and improve internal controls of the Company in an efficient and effective way
• Develop a clear understanding of the business operations and process flows
• Assist in the preparation of the annual audit plan
• Maintain proper documentation of working papers to record audit work performed
• Review working papers and supervise work performed by team members
• Identify control deficiencies and formulate recommendations for improvements
• Prepare draft report detailing audit findings and recommendations
• Assist department head and manager in preparing paper to Senior Management and Audit and Risk Management Committee
• Perform follow-up validation on the implementation of audit recommendations
• Interact with operational management effectively
• Perform ad hoc assignments and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder or above
• Possession of a recognised professional qualification in accounting, auditing or investigation, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience gained in sizeable companies or “Big Four” CPA firms, in which 4 years should be at supervisory level.  Prior experience in internal audit, IT audit or SOX assignments is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, with ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong business acumen, excellent auditing, analytical and problem solving skills are essential.  Experience with data analytics tools is an advantage
• Proactive, self-starter, able to work under pressure with passion to pursue for the highest standards
• Able to work on multi-tasks and meet tight schedule
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Occasional travel is required, prior overseas / PRC work exposure will be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Internal Auditor

Remuneration

We offer a 5-day work week and an attractive remuneration package commensurate to the right candidates with qualifications and working experience.
