Applications are invited for the above vacancy in the Business Planning & Business Support in Financial Control (HK) of CLP Power. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Officer, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Support management accounting functions including the budget compilation and preparation of management reports, etc.
• Assist in internal control related matters including the review of authority delegation in accordance with related management authority manuals and the proper database maintenance
• Assist in system enhancement and process improvement on accounting operations and other ad-hoc assignments or initiatives
• Provide advisory services relating to accounting to internal customers
• Provide day-to-day office and administrative support

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, preferably a member/ student member of a recognized accountancy body
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English & Chinese
• Proficiency in MS office applications including Excel and Word
• Experience in using SAP would be an advantage
• A good team player, proactive, hardworking, able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
