Job Description

We are a renowned French patisserie company with many boutiques of dessert and cake shops in Hong Kong and China. To cope with our expansion, we are looking for a qualified Finance team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on daily basis.       

Finance Manager 

 Responsibilities

  • Lead the small team to perform all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Register, Revenue Recognition in ensuring all are delivered promptly and efficiently.
  • To ensure the quality and reliability of the monthly financial statements (including preparation and review of monthly consolidated Group financial report to senior management) are complete, accurate and timely.
  • Analyze and interpret the financial statements to facilities reporting to senior management team and external stakeholders. You may be required to prepare presentations.
  • Develop business processes, accounting policies and financial models to maintain and strengthen internal controls and business performance. 
  • Control and reconcile food and consumable costs, work closely with kitchen team and maximize financial efficiency through controls.
  • Monitor budget and forecast for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Take lead in the process and profitability improvement projects.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist management in understanding and/or driving business performance.
  • Prepare management presentation on performance analysis, special project and annual budget.
  • Perform ad hoc business review / report as assigned.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance with minimum 10 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
  • With recognized professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast pace and demanding environment.
  • Creative thinking with strong business acumen and ability to work independently.
  • A record of demonstrate personal achievement with proven management skills.
  • Direct and support the development of finance and accounting goals for food, raw materials and consumable operations and ensure they are aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Ensure integrity of various systems information and pro-actively seek problem identification and resolution.
  • Provide senior management and relevant business partners with reports and information that can be used as a basis for improved decision making.
  • Maintain good central maintenance of stock items database such as POS.
  • Work closely with kitchen team and monitor of usage for potential and actual.
  • A good team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Command of both spoken and written English & Chinese.
  • Working experience in food and beverage industry would be an advantage.

 

Junior Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of full set of account like Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statement and relevant schedules
  • Perform month-end stocktaking
  • Assist in preparation of various reports for management’s review
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist in any ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Accounting related discipline
  • 4-5 years or above relevant experience and less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant
  • Methodical, ethical, well-organized and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Responsible, self-motivated, results-oriented and a good team player
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant management accounting experience would be an additional advantage
  • Good command of English
  • Proficiency in MS Office with solid excel worksheet skills
  • Immediately available & experience in F&B are preferred
